Atlanta is home, but I'll always be an LA girl at heart and that coast-to-coast perspective has shaped everything about the way I design.
My career began in fashion, first as a wardrobe stylist and then as the owner of a vintage boutique. Those years taught me something that still drives my work today: true style isn't about labels or trends, it's about how everything is thoughtfully woven together. When I transitioned into interiors, I brought that same eye with me.
Before launching Kristen Kai Interiors, I honed my expertise designing within the multifamily space working at scale, under pressure, and with a high bar for quality. That experience gave me a deep fluency in space planning, material selection, and project coordination that I now bring to every residential project I take on.
Today, I work with clients across the country on everything from full-scale renovations to curated furnishing projects always with the same goal: to elevate a space to its fullest potential while making sure it feels unmistakably like you.
